Master the drums

Our class series, Drummer’s Roadmap, is designed for adult beginners in Boston looking to learn how to play the drums and:

  • Advance from beginner to the intermediate level

  • Develop skills to learn your favorite songs

  • Learn to improvise and create with the drumset

  • Progress at your own pace

This is the only group drumming class series in Boston. When you enroll, you’ll receive our proprietary curriculum as well as backing tracks, exercises, and select video examples to develop your rhythm, grooves, fills, rudiments, ear training, and improvisation abilities. We’ll also give you a $1 private trial drum lesson to help you get started and learn the basics.

Plus, we guarantee that by the end you’ll be playing full songs and writing your own drum parts.

phase 1
Technical

First, you’ll study music theory and learn exercises to build new vocabulary, gain conceptual understanding and improve muscle coordination.

phase 2
Performance

Next, we’ll focus on performing musical compositions and popular songs.

phase 3
Creative

In the final creative phase–the super fun part–you’ll develop a process to write your own drum parts and improvise.
