Can you please describe your gear of choice?
Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Yamaha drums, Tama drums & hardware, & an assortment of snare drums.
Any general advice you'd like to give to beginner musicians or someone looking to get started?
First thing, let's be sure to play so we can foster a joyful connection to the drums that's free from right or wrong. Second thing, depending on what we want to learn, what we need to practice will reveal itself through playing. Third thing, we ALWAYS have the permission to play no matter how good or bad we think we sound. Question thing: What does "getting good or bad at music" even mean if we won't allow ourselves to play?
Aside from playing/making music, what are some of your other interests and hobbies?
Walking, hiking, yoga, qigong, reading, & cooking.
If you were battling a physically identical but evil android version of yourself on top of a skyscraper during a thunderstorm and someone miraculously intervened, how would they know which one was the real you?
I suppose that depends on the type of intervention...!!!
